General Policy

Gollehon Press, Inc., is a mainstream publishing house with an interest in all categories of publishing; please do not assume that we only publish books on gaming.

Other categories of which we have a particular interest are: health and fitness, which includes nutrition, aging, and medical. We have a general interest in books that appeal to seniors, 50 years of age and over.

Gollehon is not opposed to working with first-time authors, with or without agents.

Writers or agents, however, should contact us before submitting a manuscript. Gollehon does not accept unsolicited mss and does not accept any mailings via certified mail. We do, however, review brief book proposals, which must include a bio of author, a synopsis of the work, and three to five sample pages. Although we encourage that these proposals be sent via regular mail, they may be emailed to us provided all information is within the body of the email (no attachments).

For those materials requested by and mailed to Gollehon, we cannot ensure their return. If, however, we request the complete ms, it will be returned if the proper SASE is enclosed.

Any request by Gollehon for materials or information, or any correspondence we might engage in, is merely a part of our review process and does not constitute any obligation on Gollehon’s part. Please submit only with this understanding.
